This Natural Edge bowl is from yet another piece of walnut firewood that caught my eye. It was a crotch piece, meaning two branches met in a Y pattern. It was quite a challenge to find an orientation for turning it on the lathe, and then to get it round was an even bigger challenge. The grain patterns are wild! It measures 5½" in diameter and 3" tall.
