This one of a kind, Oak burl bowl is 7" in diameter and 2" tall. It is the first piece I made out of a nearly 300-pound burl I acquired. The grain of this particular oak burl is not as wild as the maple or eucalyptus burls, but very interesting with a lot of character. There will be many more sculptures made from this one burl. It is also included in the Natural Edge category. Food-safe finish.

Massive Oak Burl
This is the raw burl this sculpture came from. I will be able to produce dozens of bowls, plates, and other items from it, as well as interesting boards for segmented sculptures.
