A personal need for a couple of plant stands became the perfect excuse to learn new joining and table-saw techniques, to hone my milling skills, and to experiment with gluing pieces of wood together in interesting patterns. The main wood is myrtlewood, which has a multitude of color variations and grain patterns. The top is made of myrtlewood and red-heart, bordered with mahogany. It stands 25" tall and the top is 12" square.
